08:30 : Pick-up at your hotel or guesthouse
08:45 : Introduction to motorcycle, riding tips and paperwork
09:00 : Start up your engine and begin the tour
12:30 : Break for local lunch
14:00 : Return to Luang Prabang
You are met at the hotel and embark on your scenic motorcycling adventure from Luang Prabang along winding roads to Muang Nan. Before arriving at this local village, you will have a break at the refreshing Kacham Waterfall. Once you arrive at Muang Nan, you will enjoy interacting with people from this welcoming village. There are over 49 official recognized ethnic groups in Laos, and you can meet the Khmu or Lao Lom in Muang Nan. After local lunch, you will take your motorcycle out for a spin on a lower dirt road near to the Mekong River with a few crossings. If you are an experienced motorcyclist, we will take you up on the upper dirt road for some more technical riding to get your adrenaline pumping.
These two routes take you on an adventure through plantations, open farmlands, and various tiny villages. Before returning back to town, you will stop by the majestic Kuang Si Waterfall. This waterfall is one of the most famous in the entire province, and should not be missed on your journey in Laos. At the Kuang Si Waterfall, you can take a dip in the turquoise water, and visit the Free the Bears rescue center. Your Luang Prabang motorbike tour ends up once you arrive back to Luang Prabang.
