Instead of arranging a private ride on your own, you can now choose from a series of carefully selected departure dates throughout the year and join fellow riders from around the world for an unforgettable journey across Northern Vietnam. It is more than simply sharing the cost of a tour. Riding as part of a small group creates opportunities to exchange stories, tackle challenging roads together, discover remote places as a team, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes a motorcycle adventure truly memorable.
Groups are deliberately limited to a maximum of 12 riders, allowing us to maintain a more personal riding experience, better group control and greater flexibility on remote mountain roads and off-road sections.
✅ GUARANTEED FROM JUST 2 RIDERS
You do not need to wait for a large group before making your travel plans. A scheduled departure becomes GUARANTEED as soon as 2 riders have confirmed their bookings and paid the required deposits.
Once guaranteed, the tour will operate as scheduled, except in circumstances involving severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions or other genuine safety concerns.
💰 TOUR PRICE:
👉 Honda XR150cc – / The standard tour price of US$1,199 per rider is based on shared twin-room accommodation at standard hotels cum homestay
👉 For those who want to stay at a single room instead, the supplement would be US$ 190/person
Riders who prefer a larger dirt bike may upgrade, subject to availability:
+ Honda CRF250cc – US$1,430 per rider
+ Honda CRF300cc – US$1,510 per rider
Bike upgrades are subject to availability and are confirmed on a first-booked, first-deposit-paid basis.
🎁 BOOK EARLY – LOCK YOUR BIKE & YOUR PRICE
Our 2027 and 2028 departures are designed for riders who prefer to plan their international travel well in advance.
Early booking is strongly recommended, particularly for riders requesting Honda CRF250 or CRF300 motorcycles, as the number of larger-capacity bikes available on each departure may be limited.
Once your booking deposit has been received and your selected motorcycle has been confirmed, your agreed tour price and bike category will be secured for that departure.
💘 BOOKING DEPOSIT
A booking deposit of US$300 per rider is recommended to secure your seat and selected motorcycle.
The remaining balance is payable 45 days before departure.
🍅 MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE
Each departure is limited to:
Maximum 12 riders
Once all 12 places have been confirmed, the departure will be considered SOLD OUT.
🎩 GROUP BOOKING BENEFITS – 4+ RIDERS
When 4 or more riders book together under the same reservation, each rider may choose 2 complimentary benefits from the following:
1. Hanoi airport arrival transfer
2. 30-minute foot or body massage
3. Vietnam SIM card or eSIM
4. 1-night stay free at 3-star hotel in Hanoi
5. US$30 Bike Upgrade Credit toward a Honda CRF250 or CRF300
Benefits are subject to availability, have no cash value and cannot normally be exchanged for a cash discount.
Airport-transfer benefits may require riders to arrive on the same flight or within a similar arrival period.
The US$30 Bike Upgrade Credit applies only toward an eligible motorcycle upgrade and cannot be redeemed for cash.
🚖 EXTRA GROUP SUPPORT:
Our support level increases as the departure grows.
+ From 2 riders: Departure Guaranteed
+ From 7 riders: A dedicated mechanic may accompany the group as part of the operating team.
+ From 10 to 12 riders: One complimentary support truck will be provided to carry the group’s main luggage.
The support vehicle includes a driver, fuel and normal road tolls.
Because this is a genuine dirt-bike and mountain adventure, the support vehicle cannot physically follow motorcycles onto every narrow trail, dirt track or inaccessible mountain section. Where necessary, the truck will use an alternative road and rejoin the riders later in the day.
Riders should therefore carry a small daypack or hydration pack containing essential personal items needed during the riding day.
🍒 IF ONLY ONE RIDER IS CONFIRMED
Approximately 45 days before departure, any departure with only one confirmed rider will be reviewed.
The rider may choose one of the following options:
Option A – Free Departure Transfer
Move the booking free of charge to the nearest available guaranteed departure.
Option B – Private Ride Upgrade
Keep the original departure date and operate the journey privately by paying the applicable private-tour supplement.
Option C – Full Refund
Receive a full refund of tour payments made to Indochina Motorbike Tours in accordance with the Guaranteed Departure Policy.
As soon as a second rider confirms, the departure becomes GUARANTEED.
🔒 IMPORTANT – GUARANTEED DEPARTURE VS. ROUTE FLEXIBILITY
+ A guaranteed departure means that the tour will operate.
+ It does not mean that every dirt track or mountain trail can always be ridden exactly as originally planned.
+ Northern Vietnam is a genuine mountain environment. Heavy rain, landslides, road construction, river levels, local restrictions or damaged trails may occasionally require our tour leader to modify an off-road section or use an alternative route.
+ Safety always takes priority.
+ Where route changes are necessary, we will make every reasonable effort to preserve the character, destinations and adventure experience of the original itinerary.
