Itinerary:

DAY 1: HANOI MOTORBIKE TOUR TO MOC CHAU VIA BA KHAN, HANG KIA AND PACO- HANG TAU: 190 KM (L/D)

This Hanoi motorbike tour to Mai Chau valley starts at around 8:30 AM. Ride motorbike to the north west of Hanoi. After one hour riding, we will be in mountain area and the motorcycle tour to Mai Chau becomes very enjoyable. The ride is almost on the small countryside roads along the Da river through rice fields and farming villages, after lunch in Hoa Binh we will ride through plenty of limestone mountain between the rustic village of the Muong and the Thai people.
Especially after lunch in Hoa Binh we will have great ride along the Da river lake, the winding road along the rider offer a stunning view of lime stone mountain and the green water lake. The ride will remind you motorcycle tours on coastlines in central or southern Vietnam. 

You then take off road trail in Hang Kia and Pa Co. Hopefully you will have the chance to hunt the cloud there

Once we get close to Moc Chau plateau, we’ll make a turn to small quiet road named Hua Tat pass, that is old French-built road with a great view of mountain so you can surely have great motorcycle ride on.

You will discover Hang Tau village – Hang Tau is a village without electricity, phone signals, technological gadgets, or any tourist services. Around the area, there are only trees, animals, and 20 wooden houses. Even the locals can’t speak Vietnamese nor English. The people living here are mainly Hmong people, who work in farming, shifting cultivation, and raising cattle all year round.

DAY 2: MOC CHAU OFFROAD MOTORBIKE TOUR TO TA XUA PEAK -80 KM (B/L/D)

Breakfast at 8:00 am, It’s a easy and relaxing riding day so after breakfast we can take it easy with a ride to tea plantation and farms on the cool plateau to learn more about the interesting daily life of the locals. 
We will motorbike all the way down to the Da river lake to cross the river lake to Phu Yen. Before getting to Phu Yen town, we will have beautiful ride along the Da river this could be the highlight of this Northwest Vietnam motorbike tour.
From Phu Yen, We’ll keep following the weaving road QL37 to ride up to our famous destination known as Ta Xua peak or the “dinosaur backbone”.

Ta Xua is a mountain range in the Bac Yen district in Son La province. At the highest point of 2865 meters, the Ta Xua peak is the tenth highest peak in Vietnam. The three most important peaks form a line that looks like the backbone of a dinosaur. It is a real off the beaten track destination for adventure travelers

If time permits, we also try some dirt-track experiences to get deeper into remote villages around to see how the locals live & work otherwise it’s our time for beer, and relaxation amid this remote and pristine nature’s playground amid the clouds.

DAY 3: TA XUA MOTORBIKE TOUR TO NGHIA LO VIA TRAM TAU HOT SPRING (150 KM)

In this morning, we should rise early to hunt the cloud at Dinasaur Spine which lies at an altitude of about 1500 m and the views from there or from the nearby village of Ta Xua and its surroundings are really breathtaking

In this morning, we’ll keep exploring beauties of this amazing land with some dirt tracks to get deeper inside the villages before leaving to Tram Tau of Yen Bai province on a newly-opened short-cut by our iron horses. Tram Tau is home to 11 groups of peoples of which the Hmong accounts for 77%, the Thai 16% and the others are Kinh, Khmu, Tay, Muong… The terrain of Tram Tau is dissected by high mountains and deep ravines becomes hot destination for adventure motorbike riders. The averaged altitude is 800m above sea level, the lowest altitude is 390m above sea level. The temperatures in Tram Tau are below 30 Degrees Celsius almost all year round and it may get below freezing point in the winter

NGHIA LO MOTORBIKE TOUR TO SUOI GIANG

Nghia Lo locates on Highway 32 & away from Hanoi about 200km. Muong Lo is the second-largest rice terraces in the Northwest of Vietnam with the famous water rice and Muong Lo – Nghia Lo is the cradle of Thai people who is famous for unique culture and food.
In this morning, we’ll be at leisure a bit or take a offroad ride to Suoi Giang or Long Co teahills before riding back Hanoi. En route, we’ll stop by some very nice places / great spots to defy yourself with some dirt tracks to discover the beauties of Muong Lo Valley with tea plantations / terraces, villages . Finally, We will be back to the hotel before rush hours in order to end this amazing Vietnam motorbike tour in north safely.
